About 4 years ago I gave a “Streichpsalter” including an embroidered bag, which I especially made for this psaltery, to Arnulf, a member of my shire Ad Flumen Caerulum and our current seneschal, because some of his music instruments (including a psaltery) were stolen while he was working at a concert event.
At this time I wasn’t practising my psaltery very often and I knew that it would cost him enough money to replace the other stolen instruments therefore I gave him the psaltery including the bag and just requested a pair of 14th century shoes… You can see the bag on the pictures above and the one on the left side
…and finally, I got my shoes today and I really love them – Thanks, Arnulf
:*
…and yes, the shoes are purple – purple with a pink border!
…and I think they look great with my red 14th century stockings…
colour rulezzz!
…and now I just need some colourful 14th century dresses…
…and “bling bling”
…and the shoes were made by
Ledermanufaktur Thomas Posenanski
new drinking glasses ![]()
…the two on the right side (baroque?!) and the blue one in the middle (gothic?!) are new
…one or two years ago I got this “Kleiderpuppe” from a shop owner I know and started to pimp it up – first I wrapped felt stripes around the body part to add a little bit more ‘flesh’ to it, to draw it near to my size
…and than it remained untouched for a long time in a rather dark corner in the kitchen and I have to admit that I used it as a stand for my bags…
Finally I started yesterday to give the “Kleiderpuppe” a new cover with a soft stretch fabric to cover the unlovely black felt stripes and made pictures of the progress…
…and as soon as this embroidery is finished I think I should make a new veil (I gave my last and also very first one to my good friend and inspiring lady Ezabella),… – a whole “Gebende”, because a long scarf would hide the embroidery, the way I like to wear it but I think a long round veil would look lovely
…for all ladies who have problems concerning how to wear a veil in a good looking way – I want to remind you at my pictures I took at > Ezabella’s class < (2004 University in Austria)

…now I took off the bigger pearls from the back and shoulder part and did some additional embroidery…
…besides taking some medicine, drinking tea, keeping myself warm and trying to get healthy again, I had some time to surf on the i-net and found this homepage >Scherenkauf.de< with lovely scissors and I buyed some new scissors for myself (also sharp scissors for cutting fabric) – it is more fun to work with good and also good looking equipment
Herr Frank Otto from Scherenkauf.de is very nice and a very good contact, he also sells some nice scissors at eBay and I am sure he will respond soon if you write him an eMail if you are looking for some nice and moderately priced scissors
Have I mentioned yet that I love to get small gifts from good friends?
…and sometimes we get really great presents from our friends – like the one I got from Volker and Gunhild (you maybe remember my posting about the hunting season) at hunting season
– they brought this beautiful chess game with them to hunting season and I love it very much
Many many thanks to Volker and Gunhild
I saw this “Nähkorb” the first time at the homepage of Tchibo/Eduscho and
I fell in love with it
I am sure that there are much prettier sewing baskets out there – but this one was the best looking basket I found till now for a reasonable price and I think it will look better than the sewing baskets made out of plastic I used till now
