more embroidered nailbinding – my new snood, a brooch & wristwarmers :)

DSC06572Do you remember my “little red riding hood” – yeah, I did it again – just a little bit bigger this time ;)

I think it took me almost forever to nailbind this snood, but I survived… woooohooooo!!! :)

…and I also made a pair of wristwarmers and a brooch – the brooch made from a nailbinding leftover because I wanted also to make a cap but then I changed my mind, stopped nailbinding it and was in need for another idea for this small band… playing with this band I had the funny idea for this brooch – I think this brooch is a cute kind of recycling, isn’t it? ;)

…ok, here some photos of all possibilities to wear it which I could imagine…

I am soooooooo ready for christmas now! …I even tried out a new kind of hairdress – curled hair ;)

DSC05926Ok, more photos for Evi, a good friend of mine, who would like to see the dragonfly… ;) *lol*

Part II of my posting embroidered nailbinding… “Little Red Riding Hood” :)

I hope you like my small dragonfly – it was quite difficult to embroider the nailbinded ‘fabric’ but I think I found a nice way :)

DSC05921Here some photos of what I was working at during the last two or three weeks – an embroidered nailbinded “Schlauchschal” (a tube scarf?)…

…unfortunately the detail photos of the “Schlauchschal” got lost between taking them and getting them on my hard disc – I will take them after I washed it carefully by hand :)

I especiall love the embroidered dragonfly… more photos of the embroidery soon…

DSC05865

…it’s sooo cosy and nice – but maybe I will put it on artfire (a good excuse to start another embroidered and nailbinded “Schlauchschal”) *smile*
