…maybe you remember the skirt that I sewed some days ago – now I embroidered this skirt, inspired by a lovely japanese plum blossom calligraphy painting on paper.
I am still not 100% happy with the result but I think it is wearable now… ![]()
…and I really love the blossoms
…btw. ‘new’ learned and practised embroidery stitches for my A&S50 stitches list, my deep challenge:
- Feather Stitch, – Feather Stitch – double, – Bullion Knot/Stitch, – French Knot, – Couching – Satin (Trailing Stitch), – Daisy Stitch
…something odd happened – Cleo, my cat, tried to eat one of the single flowers at the bottom *lol*
on the pic above:
- Bullion Knot/Stitch – between the Daisy and the Trailing Stitch – white
- Couching – Satin / Trailing Stitch – grey
- Daisy Stitch – white
on the pic above, concerning the single flowers:
- French Knot (there are also some single flowers with a Bullion Stitch in the middle – I tried it first with the Bullion Stitch and because I didn’t like the effect, I continued with French Knots…)
- Daisy Stitch
again on the pic above:
- Bullion Knot/Stitch – between the Daisy and the Trailing Stitch – white
- Couching – Satin / Trailing Stitch – grey
- Daisy Stitch – white
on the pic above:
- Feather Stitch
- Feather Stitch – double
- Bullion Knot/Stitch
- Couching – Satin (Trailing Stitch)
- Daisy Stitch
